Spa bath and crane – Princess Y85
Garmin Surround View – Princess F55
An owner wanted to make the most of luxury on board and
requested a spa bath to be 昀椀tted onto the 昀氀ybridge of their
Princess Y85. The spa was fully integrated as if it was part of
the original shipyard build and involved upgrading the water
pump and adding a second calori昀椀er to meet the additional
water demand. The owner also required a crane to give them
the option to keep their Williams tender either on the bathing
platform or on the 昀氀ybridge. This was fully integrated into the
Böning control system at the helm for ease of use.
The retro昀椀t team can provide navigation systems and upgrades,
so yacht owners feel at ease and in control. The Plymouth team
昀椀tted the newly released Garmin Surround View for a customer.
Technicians installed 6 cameras; bow, stern and two on each
side - they talk to each other to create a 360o view to aid
berthing or they can work independently. The in-house team
worked closely with Garmin to ensure everything was 昀椀tted to
factory standard.
