ST MICHAELS RESORT & SPA
There’s also a fantastic spa at the St Michael’s Resort Hotel,
make a stop on your coastal walk from the fabulous beach
of Gylly towards Swanpool.
While cruising between Fowey and Falmouth, take time to
explore Polperro, Mevagissey, or the Roseland Peninsula
- especially St. Mawes, a beautiful anchorage opposite
Falmouth with lovely walks and a relaxed charm. Keep an
eye on the tide and weather; the coast is generally forgiving
but can turn quickly in strong southwesterlies.

PORT PENDENNIS MARINA, FALMOUTH
When booking marina berthing, be mindful of the local
events such as the busy regattas in Fowey and Falmouth
during August. Above all, where possible, plan with
昀氀exibility. South Cornwall’s magic lies in its variety—
peaceful estuaries, rugged cli昀昀s, sandy beaches, and
hospitable harbours. Bring your binoculars, a decent tide
chart, and a good appetite for Cornish crab. You’ll 昀椀nd a
rhythm of life shaped by the sea, and a coastline that feels
like it was made to explore from the water.
